This project brings together soft, natural stone-effect porcelain tiles, warm wood finishes and brushed brass fittings to create a bright, elegant and contemporary space.
The freestanding bath provides a lovely focal point, whilst the curved glass shower enclosure with matching brushed brass detailing adds a touch of luxury without overwhelming the room.
A wall-hung walnut-effect vanity unit, illuminated mirror and carefully coordinated brassware complete the look, with the neutral tones keeping everything feeling light and spacious.

Following on from our previous post, here’s the en-suite bathroom completed at the same property for @pjallenbuilders
We carried the same combination of wood-effect porcelain and natural stone-effect tiles through from the main bathroom, creating a consistent look across both spaces.
The spacious walk-in shower features a rainfall showerhead, frameless glass enclosure and a recessed niche with integrated lighting.
A wall-hung wood-effect vanity unit and illuminated circular mirror complete the room, bringing together natural textures and contemporary finishes.
Two bathrooms with their own individual layouts, beautifully tied together through a carefully considered choice of materials.

It’s all in the details ✨
We recently returned to one of our completed bathroom projects to add the finishing touches to this beautiful feature archway.
The arch was originally created as part of the bathroom renovation, and we’ve now added natural stone pebble tiles to bring texture, warmth and a little extra character to the space.
The soft, neutral tones of the pebbles complement the surrounding finishes beautifully, turning a simple recessed arch into a lovely feature.
Sometimes it’s the smaller details that make the biggest difference!

Victorian elegance, right down to the smallest detail ✨
Following on from our previous post showcasing the Victorian entrance porch and hallway, here’s the stunning downstairs WC completed at the same property.
The period tiles were Designed and supplied by @alternative_tiles
this beautiful space brings together traditional styling and intricate tilework to create a room full of character.
The geometric Victorian floor features a striking combination of black, grey and white tiles, complete with decorative floral inserts and detailed borders.
For the walls, we installed classic white metro tiles with contrasting dark grout, finished with decorative black dado tiles and skirting to perfectly complement the traditional design.
The beautiful brass fittings, high-level cistern and statement black basin complete the look, creating a truly timeless Victorian-inspired interior.
Our work on this project included the wall and floor tiling, with particular attention given to the intricate patterns, borders and finishing details.
A fantastic example of how even the smallest room in a home can make a big impression!

A beautiful combination of traditional and contemporary tiling on this ground floor project.
We incorporated this stunning Victorian-style entrance porch into a larger stone-effect porcelain floor, creating a seamless transition between the two styles.
The main floor tiles were supplied by @quornstoneofficial , whilst the intricate Victorian floor was designed and supplied by @alternative_tiles
The detailed borders and geometric patterns create a real statement as you enter the property, perfectly complementing the softer, natural stone tones of the surrounding floor.

Before a single tile is laid, we flood test every wet room tray.
In this video, we’re testing a @schlutersystemsuk wet room tray by filling it with water and leaving it to stand. This simple process confirms that the tray, drain connection and waterproofing system are all performing exactly as they should before the final finish goes down.
Could we tile straight over it? Yes.
Do we prefer to know everything is 100% watertight first? Absolutely.
It’s one of those behind-the-scenes steps that nobody sees when the bathroom is finished, but it’s often the difference between doing a job and doing it properly.
Waterproofing isn’t the exciting part of a bathroom renovation, but it’s arguably the most important.
That’s why we use proven Schluter systems and take the time to test them before moving on to the next stage.
Because once the tiles are down, you want complete confidence that everything underneath has been done right. ✔️
